形態特徵

• Slender, herbaceous twiners, stem densely to scattered pubescent throughout.
• Leaves broadly ovate or orbicular in outline, 6–10 cm long, 7–12 cm wide, entire or 3-lobed, apex shortly acuminate, base cordate, ± adpressed-hairy on both surfaces, lobes apically acute to acuminate, pubescent; petiole 5–8 cm long.
• Flowers in umbellate cymes, 1-several-flowered; peduncle 3–8 cm long, with retrorse hairs; bracts linear, 5–8 mm long; sepals lanceolate, herbaceous, 18–22 mm long, patently hirsute espcially on basal portion, apex long-linear; corolla funnelform, 5–8 cm long, glabrous, limb 7–10 cm broad, blue to red, rarely white; filaments hairy at base; ovary glabrous.
• Capsules ovoid, ca. 1 cm across, glabrous; seeds ca. 5 mm long, black, puberulent.

分布

• 台灣 : introduced and naturalized.
• 世界 : Native of South America, now nearly circumtropical.
